Pelvic Floor Exercise
Who can attend the pelvic floor exercise workshop?
The workshop is for gentlemen who have been diagnosed with prostate or bladder cancer.
You may have no problems but are about to have surgery or a course of hormone treatment and radiotherapy or other treatments which may cause some side effects.
You may already have some issues relating to incontinence. This may include needing to go for a wee more often, needing to go for a wee with a sense of urgency, leaking urine slightly or dribbling urine from time to time in between times when you need to go to the toilet.
All of these issues can be helped with engaging in pelvic floor exercises.
Following the workshop, we offer up to ten weeks of exercise sessions which include elements that help to strength the pelvic floor. Find out more about the classes by following the link to the best location for you: Ipswich, Felixstowe, Wickham Market
Although you are encouraged to attend both the workshop and classes, you can choose to attend the workshop without attending the classes.
